2020/21
The previous subsidiaries have become independent through respective management buy-outs. The STG Group now consists of Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft AG, Basel, Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft (Bern) AG, Bern, Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft (Zürich) AG, Zurich and Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft (Revision) AG (Bern, Valais and Zurich).

2018
The headquarters in Zurich is spun off into a subsidiary, Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft (Zürich) AG. The Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft Group now consists of three offices and an auditing company in Basel, Bern and Zurich.

2013
STG becomes a new member of GGI (Geneva Group International) . GGI is an alliance of independent companies in the trust business. The STG Group is again connected to an international network.

2011
The company offices in Lausanne and Geneva are sold to the employees. The STG Group is now represented in Basel (headquarters), Bern and Zurich and employs over 40 people.

2009
The company is acquired by a group of private Swiss investors. The company now operates under the name Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft AG. Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft AG, as a national trust company, is represented in Basel (headquarters), Bern, Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano and Zurich, and employs over 50 people.

2003
Swiss Life sells the STG Holding AG to LGT Group, Vaduz.

1998
Separation of the company into the auditing division with associated consulting divisions, which merged in 1998 to form PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, and the trust division, Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft and STG Holding AG, which were taken over by Rentenanstalt (now Swiss Life).

1991
Management buy-out by the former management, who become partners. The new principal company will be Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft-Coopers & Lybrand AG.

1959
Start of cooperation with Coopers & Lybrand International (founded in 1957). Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft joins as an associate member.

1925
Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft is a co-founder of the Swiss Chamber of Auditors (now EXPERTSuisse).

1906
On 20 September, Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft is founded in Basel by the Swiss Bank Corporation and is the first company in the industry.
